À la découverte de l’OSM

Commissioned by the Montréal Symphony Orchestra, we created visuals to accompany an educative concert for kids aging 8 to 12. To explain concepts such as pitch and tempo, we shot a family of short stop-motion sequences using origami to illustrate the maestro's lessons.

In one demonstration, we animated paper sound waves representing the frequency associated with different instruments to explain pitch. In this clip, we can hear notes from the picollo, the tuba and the infamous Octobasse.
